According to NOAA, June 1st marks the start of Hurricane Season; when 97% of hurricanes occur on the east coast of the US.  That's us, folks!  So what better time than NOW to start preparing for stormy weather and ALL types of emergencies?  

At APU Self Reliance, we're not about all the media hype and "end of the world" scare tactics, and we promise that we don't have ANY zombies at our store!  We want to show you how easy, empowering and fun being prepared and self reliant can be for you and your family!  It's NOT complicated!  Our represents what APU stands for:

We are building our inventory of different and unique products in 9 areas of preparedness that you won't find at your local stores!  We also can show you HOW TO USE what you have or what you buy, so that you feel comfortable incorporating it into your lifestyle NOW.  

Come see us!  We're easy to find: just about a mile north of NC 96 and Capital Blvd (US 1) on Park Ave. (1A).  Turn right at the big white Franklin County water tower and we're down the street about a quarter mile on your left.   Look for the red, black and chrome APU sign.
