April Meditate with Plants

We're bringing this creative series back by popular demand. Take time to reconnect to your breath, find your center, and recall your connection with the natural world. Join yoga and meditation teacher and plant-lover Jess Mack for a creative series of guided mindfulness sessions amidst the fresh air of your favorite local plant nursery.

Each month will focus on a different plant-related theme, opening with a brief talk that explores inspiring plant facts and revelations which will create the container for guided meditation and breathing together. Walk away with a greater sense of calm and presence, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world we inhabit.

• We gather rain or shine, as the stage where we meditate is covered.
• All levels and ages welcome.
• Please bring a blanket or pillow to sit on if you have one, but some will also be provided.
• Space is limited.

Jess Mack is a yoga + meditation teacher, writer + creative based in Santa Monica. Plants, trees, and the natural world have been central in her ongoing journey to be more present, grounded, and joyful. She often weaves these themes into her classes and workshops, and is passionate about creating space where people can reconnect to themselves and the natural world. Learn more about Jess.

Merrihew's Sunset Gardens has been a staple of the LA westside community for more than 75 years. They carry a large variety of indoor houseplants, veggies, herbs, fruit trees/vines, succulents & cactus, CA natives, Australia natives, South African natives, annuals, perennials, and many more! They provide a living space for various community events.
