Hello current and future Mahjongers! Please join us for HAPPY HOUR MAHJONG at The Ashford in Brookhaven on Sunday April 13th! We have 3 options this time - please see below:NMJL 2025 NEW CARD REVIEW AND SUPERVISED PLAY: It’s almost that time of year again… the new cards will be mailed out at the end of March and expected in hand by early April. Please join us for first impressions and overview of the card, followed by some supervised play on the new card! THIS OPTION BEGINS AT 3:00 (for card review)
SNEAK PEEK INTO AMERICAN MAHJONG: If this is your first dive into the American style of the game, we are offering our Sneak Peek into American Mah Jongg - we will start from scratch and cover the basics - identifying the tiles, reading the NMJL card and an overview of the rules of the road as well as get some practice playing. THIS OPTION BEGINS AT 4:00
SUPERVISED PLAY OPTION: If you know the basics (or are a seasoned player), join us for either American or Hong Kong style. We provide the set up and will be available to answer questions on rules, ettique, tiles, history. THIS OPTION BEGINS AT 4:00.
