Join us for our third iteration of the helper hangout for networking, community building, snacks, and even more fun planned this time!
From the last few hangouts, we've learned that folx enjoy introductory icebreaker games, arts and crafts, and... drumroll please... tarot! So this time, we'll have a tarot station in addition to the aforementioned activities and the networking stations we set up in the past. We've had so much fun that the alcohol we've supplied has barely been touched! Don't worry, we will still have some as an option, but we wanted to let everyone know what the vibe has been like.
We intend to keep hosting these hangouts as long as there is the wonderful participation we've been having. Hope to see you there! Feel free to RSVP at [email protected] (though not necessary).
Also, we got some feedback that there was some uncertainty about who is considered a "helper." We at the BIA believe in a broad definition of "helpers": therapists, social workers, bodyworkers, spiritualists, coaches, healers of all sorts. If that sounds like you in any way, shape, or form, the answer is yes! We aim to be inclusive!
