Ahoy, fools, pranksters, trouble makers and jesters of combat!The Vanguard Centre is proud to once again host a unique, one-of-a-kind lesson in unconvincing martial arts, uselessly niche self-defence techniques, and outright bullshitsu from the past. In an exploration of the fun, the dumb, and the perhaps once historically viable but recently impractical combat sciences, we will be taking students through 3 hours of games and scenarios highlighting what not to do in a fight, or proving that not everything written down in a manual has any merit.
The event will take place on the evening of Tuesday, 1st April 2025, commencing at 6.00pm, at the wretched hive of scum and villainy that is The Vanguard Centre. All equipment will be provided, but participants may want to bring their own fencing mask, gloves, and personal protectors for comfort, as well as a change of clothes to get sweaty in.
