Kristy Kensinger - Interstice
The essence of being and creating unfolds in the spaces between. What if instead of rushing to fill these gaps, we embraced the opportunity to truly experience them? It is within these interstices that we can simply exist.
Jenny Kruckeberg - Déjà Vu
Lately, taking pictures feels like déjà vu. I have been retracing my steps, walking back over familiar territory, studying places I have known for years, but the more I return, the less familiar these places seem: I tune out the defining, constant elements of a place and focus instead on the ever-shifting details.
Jennifer Parisi - After Now
So many divisive clashes are occurring in our world. What has happened to us? This state of affairs can’t last forever. AFTER NOW, I’m hoping for re-connection and a return to mutual respect, and an atmosphere in which creativity can flourish. I’m envisioning Peace, Peace, Peace.
Annie Pieper - Lush
The word LUSH evokes saturated color, density of mark, richness of material, softness, sensuousness…but also gluttony, drunken-ness, overabundance. We are pleasure seekers. This series looks up close at that desire and also steps back to let it become abstract.
