Join the Native Plant Society of New Mexico, El Paso Chapter, and the @epcactusandrockclub for our April meeting! Our presentation will be "So, You're Ready to Try Native Plants? Come and Enjoy Gardening Again!"Come and enjoy a personal story of how and why Mike transitioned from a traditional garden to a more native-friendly landscape. Rekindle your joy of gardening and see what plants at the April 11th FloraFest Native Plant Sale at UTEP could suit your garden.
Mike Banales has been a gardener at the Chihuahuan Desert Gardens at UTEP's Centennial Museum since August of 2021 and became a Master Gardener in 2018. Prior to that he worked in the medical field for 36 years, 31 of which were in a cardiac cath lab and serving for a combined 12 years as a supervisor in local hospitals.
The meeting is Saturday, APril 4th. Doors open at 9:30 am and the business meetings start at 10 am. We meet at the Garden Center at Memorial Park, 3105 Grant Ave. All are welcome to attend!
