About Chris Porter

A music industry professional for over 30 years, Chris has been involved in artist management, record label ownership, club level talent buying & promoting, and festival programming throughout that time. After an 18-year stint as the music talent buyer for the Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle, he moved on to his own company Porter Productions LLC in 2015. Current projects include Hardly Strictly Bluegrass (San Francisco), Sweetwater Music Hall (Mill Valley, CA), The Town and The City Festival (Lowell, MA), and Bumbershoot (Seattle, WA) among other special events, projects, and concerts.
