Approach With Confidence
About this Event
Approach With Confidence is a real-world social skills workshop for people who want to get better at meeting others in person.
We’ll meet in downtown San Luis Obispo, warm up with a few low-pressure exercises, and then go out and actually practice starting conversations with strangers.
You’ll work on:
- starting conversations without needing the perfect opener
- getting out of your head before an approach
- keeping conversations going naturally
- approaching people for dating, friendship, networking, or just because they seem interesting
- becoming more socially confident in everyday life
A lot of social life has become passive. We swipe, scroll, wait for invitations, and hope the right people come to us.
This workshop is about taking a more active role in your social life.
I’ll coach you throughout the session, help you troubleshoot what’s happening in your interactions, and give you things to try on the next approach.
I’m Craig Gibbons, creator of We Should Be Social, and I’ve spent more than a decade teaching social skills, conversation, and real-world confidence to thousands of students.
