With appliqué techniques you can use your imagination to personalize garments, quilts or in this class, a tote bag. This class focuses on simple techniques using fusible web. You will learn to select suitable images and fabric, trace and cut out your design, and zigzag sew to finish the edges. Day 2 of the class will provide all techniques needed to build a polished, custom tote bag. Bring your own simple image to appliqué - drawn or graphic - or pick from ours. Students are encouraged to bring their own sewing machine to class, but not required.
Level: Intermediate, Advanced.
Ages 16 and over.
