Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)

Join Gryphon Place for a two - day ASIST suicide prevention training on August 12th and 13th, 2024. The training is from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm each day (with a one-hour lunch break each day - send any dietary restrictions to [email protected]).

We appreciate your advance notice in the event you are unable to attend, as it helps us ensure we are still able to provide ASIST to our other attendees. ASIST is a two-day face-to-face workshop featuring powerful audiovisuals, discussions, and simulations. At this LivingWorks ASIST workshop, hosted and provided by Gryphon Place, you’ll learn how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, providing a skilled intervention, and developing a safety plan to keep someone alive. Our knowledgeable, supportive trainers will guide you through the course, ensuring your comfort and safety.

LivingWorks ASIST trainees make their communities safer from suicide by providing life-saving interventions. They’re a vital resource that trainees in connector programs—such as LivingWorks safeTALK—can call to help others.
