Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the science of understanding and changing behavior. It helps us determine how, why, and when a behavior occurs. The goal of ABA is to teach and reinforce helpful, socially-appropriate behaviors while decreasing and/or replacing harmful ones.The professionals who will be providing our training work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including - but not limited to - autism, ADHD, and oppositional defiant disorder (ODD). Each client has an individualized plan. All
therapists are BACB-certified. They provide services in their Largo clinic and in homes, schools, and in the community.
This event is for parents, caregivers, and children's ministry volunteers.
