Join us for one of Winchester’s most anticipated race weekends during the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival. This event brings together runners of all ages for a fun, competitive, and community-focused experience.Location: Winchester, VA
Dates: May 1–2, 2026
🌸Friday, May 1 – Kids’ Bloomin’ Mile🌸
A one-mile race designed for young runners, following the first mile of the official 10K course.
Time: 4:00–6:00 PM
Entry Fee: $30 (price increases after April 25)
Ages: 6–14 (divided by age groups)
All participants receive a finisher medal, and age group awards are presented. Age group winners are invited to ride in the Apple Blossom Grand Feature Parade.
Packet Pickup:
Thursday, April 30: 5–7 PM
Friday, May 1: 2–3:45 PM
Location: Handley High School
Note: For ages 6–7, parents or guardians must pick up runners in the designated finish corral.
🌸Saturday, May 2 – Valley Health 10K🌸
A scenic 10K through historic downtown Winchester and part of the Apple Blossom Festival tradition.
Start Time: 8:30 AM
Entry Fee: $45 (price increases after April 25)
This is a USATF-certified course and serves as the 2026 RRCA Virginia State 10K Championship. Awards are given for overall, masters, grand masters, and age groups.
Packet Pickup:
Thursday, April 30: 5–7 PM
Friday, May 1: 2–3:45 PM
Saturday, May 2: 7–8 AM
Location: Handley High School
No bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, strollers, or animals are allowed on the course.
🌸Due to the popularity of this event, races are expected to sell out. Early registration is strongly encouraged.🌸
