A propos de l'événement:

La deuxième édition du Salon du livre francophone de Washington se tiendra à l’hôtel The Ven at Embassy Row, à Dupont Circle le samedi, 7 mars, 2026 de 14h à 17h.

Les auteurs francophones de toute la région pourront dialoguer avec le public, vendre et dédicacer leurs livres pour tous les âges en français (les traductions de l'anglais vers le français ne sont pas permises). Seules les propositions de livres de littérature (romans, nouvelles), poésie, science-fiction littéraire, romans policiers, bandes dessinées et littérature pour enfants seront acceptées. Merci de ne pas proposer de livres hors de ces catégories.

Cet événement fait partie de FrancophonieDC, un festival culturel annuel sponsorisé et coproduit par Smithsonian Associates, l'Alliance Française de Washington DC, et les ambassades des pays faisant partie de l'Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie.

Bonjour Books DC est la librairie officielle du Salon du Livre Francophone.

L’événement est organisé avec le soutien de l’Alliance française de Washington et de la Délégation du Québec à Washington. The Ven Hotel at Embassy Row est partenaire de FrancophonieDC depuis le printemps 2024.

Dates Importantes:

  • Date limite de candidature : Lundi 15 décembre 2025 (à 9h du matin EST)
  • Notification d ’acceptation par email seulement : Mardi 20 janvier 2026
  • Date du salon : Samedi 7 mars 2026, de 14h à 17h. Les auteurs sont priés d'arriver à 13h pour l'installation. La participation des retardataires sera systématiquement annulée.



About the event:

The second edition of the Washington Francophone Book Fair will take place at The Ven Hotel at Embassy Row in Dupont Circle on Saturday March 7, 2026 from 2pm-5pm.

Francophone authors from the entire region will engage with attendees, and sell & sign books for all ages in original French (no translations from English to French permitted) Only the following genres are being considered: Literary Fiction, Poetry, Literary Science Fiction, Thrillers, Comics, Children’s Literature. Please do not submit non-fiction.

This event is part of FrancophonieDC, an annual cultural festival sponsored and co-produced by Smithsonian Associates, the Alliance Française od Washington DC, and embassies whose countries are members or observers of the International Organization of Framcophonie (OIF).

Bonjour Books DC is the official bookseller of thr Francophone Book Fair.

The event is hosted with support from the Alliance Française de Washington and the Québec Government Office in Washington. The Ven Hotel at Embassy Row has been a partner venue of FrancophonieDC since Spring 2024.

Key Dates:

  • Application Deadline: Monday, December 15, 2025 by 9:00am EST
  • Notification of Acceptance: Tuesday, January 20, 2026
  • Festival Date: Saturday, March 7 2026, 2:00 to 5:00pm EST. Authors are required to arrive one hour before the start of the event for placement. Latecomers' participation to the event will be canceled.
