About this Event

Since 2016, ApparelCamp has been a must-attend event for BC’s apparel and gear industry. 2025 marks the first year the event is being presented by the .


ApparelCamp brings together industry professionals to connect, share ideas, and stay informed on the latest developments shaping the apparel and gear landscape. With inspiring keynote panels, engaging breakout sessions, and plenty of time to network over a catered lunch and social hour, this event is designed to spark new connections and collaborations.


This year, ApparelCamp runs alongside the debut of the in Canada, giving you the chance to explore innovative fabrics and sourcing options during breaks and breakout sessions. We are also excited to introduce two keynote panels discussing our industry’s most current updates:


A Discussion on Navigating Tariff Turbulence

Join Bob Kirke from the , Dave Pentland from , Mathieu St-Arnaud from , the Montreal Fashion Cluster, Ayr Barnett from and Once was Wolf Consulting, and Paul King from as they cover such topics as:

  • Tariff Engineering to minimize Duty Exposure

Beyond Borders: Innovation as a Competitive Edge

Hosted by Ruth Kelly of , this panel will bring together voices from across the apparel and textile innovation landscape. Speakers will include a representative from a major brand’s innovation team and experts from the fibre and mill sectors.

As tariffs reshape the flow of textiles and apparel between Canada and the United States, innovation has become the defining factor for competitiveness. From advanced fibres and performance wear to circular design, forward-thinking companies are finding ways to thrive beyond the barriers of trade policy.

A special focus will be given to The Fabric of the Future: Cross-Border Collaboration in R&D—how Canadian and U.S. companies and institutions can jointly advance textile science through textile innovation breakthroughs.
