Bucharest-based G76, a Sunwaves standout, has steadily carved a niche between the poles of modern styles, persistently short-circuiting dancefloor conventions with a combination of classic and avant-garde strategy which has lead to some of the most fascinating electronic music in recent years. Joiah, fresh from shows with VBX and many others, is an Italian/Colombian music producer-singer & DJ born and raised in Padua and now based among Amsterdam, Miami and Venice. Her sound is warm, gritty, and peachy, fluctuating between house, breaks and minimal with graceful vocals. Her DJ sets are a juxtaposition of 90’s grooves, sensual ethereal vocals, and deep synthesized sounds.
