ABOUT THE ARTIST
Lindsey Goodman
Flutist
Lindsey Goodman is a flutist celebrated as “nothing short of mesmerizing” (The Flute
View), having made her sold-out Carnegie Hall debut in Weill Recital Hall to a standing
ovation. She has performed and taught at Lincoln Center, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe,
Google headquarters, and the Eastman School of Music, among many other venues.
Goodman currently serves as principal flutist of the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra,
instructor of flute at Otterbein University and Glenville State University, and artist
faculty at the Mostly Modern Festival. She is a founding member of the flute quartet
PANdemonium4, the flute-and-harp Apollo Duo, and the duo Chrysalis.
One of North America's leading electroacoustic flute specialists, Goodman is a
passionate advocate for living composers, having premiered over 225 works. She has
released five solo albums of new music on the PARMA/Navona label, receiving frequent
national and international airplay.
Goodman holds degrees from the Manhattan School of Music, Northwestern University,
and Duquesne University, graduating summa cum laude, and studied with Robert
Langevin and Walfrid Kujala.
She lives in Pickerington, Ohio, with her husband, composer and percussionist Chris
Carmean, and their dog, Beau.

Joseph Rebman
Harpist & Composer
Joseph Rebman is a harpist and composer with a passion for new music. A recipient of
the Alice Chalifoux Prize for harp, he has performed as a soloist with the Queen City
Chamber Orchestra (Mozart's Concerto for Flute and Harp) and premiered his own harp
concerto, Hyperion, at the Mostly Modern Festival in Saratoga Springs, NY. He tours as
the Apollo Duo with flutist Lindsey Goodman and has appeared as guest harpist with
Alarm Will Sound.
Rebman currently serves as principal harpist with the Kentucky Symphony and The
Mason Symphony (OH), and acting-principal harpist with the Huntington Symphony
(WV). He has also appeared as guest principal or second harp with the Cincinnati
Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Symphony Orchestra, and Louisville Orchestra, among
others.
A dedicated advocate for new music, Rebman has commissioned over 30 works for solo
harp and serves as harp faculty at the Mostly Modern Festival. He directs the harp
program at Cincinnati's School for the Creative and Performing Arts.
Rebman holds an Artist Diploma in Harp from the University of Cincinnati
College-Conservatory of Music, a Master of Music in Composition from the University of
Oklahoma, and a Bachelor of Music in Harp from the Cleveland Institute of Music, where
he studied with Michelle Gwynne, Yolanda Kondonassis, Gaye LeBlanc, and Gillian Benet
Sella.
A Cincinnati native, Rebman discovered the harp at age ten through Disney's Fantasia.
