Apollo Chamber Players Presents Bold Serenity, Concert 1: TRANQUILITY

Bold Serenity opens with a cross-cultural musical dialogue between composer and author Anthony Brandt and Indian Carnatic musician Chitravina Ravikiran, the "Mozart of Indian Classical Music." Centered around two interwoven commissions — Resting States (Brandt) and Illusion to Resolution (Ravikiran) — the program explores the challenges of contemporary life and the modern mind's search for calm amid overstimulation and distraction. Together, these works trace a journey from darkness to light, confusion to clarity, and anxiety to tranquility, creating a compelling conversation between neuroscience and spirituality and Western contemporary music and Eastern Carnatic tradition.
