Our community runs on volunteer magic, elbow grease, brilliant weirdos, helping hands, and the people who show up again and again to make things happen. Now it’s time to celebrate YOU. ✨
We’re gathering on Saturday, July 11, 2026, starting at 12:00 PM at Sloan’s Lake Picnic Area #2, located at the northeast corner of the park. 💜

We’ll have burgers, brats, and fried chicken, and vegan, vegetarian, non-dairy, and other dietary needs can be accommodated through the registration form. 💚

We’ll also be recognizing outstanding volunteers during the picnic, because the folks who pour their time, care, creativity, and questionable-but-effective problem-solving skills into this community deserve a proper round of applause. 💜💚
Want to help out with the festivities? We’d love event volunteers! Setup begins at 9:30 AM, and we are also looking for coolers and a couple of pop-up canopies. ✨
Street parking may be available, but please be mindful of posted parking rules.
The site is reserved until 9:00 PM, though the picnic typically wraps up around 5:00–6:00 PM.
