Come learn about the fundamentals of beekeeping from the Comal County Beekeepers Association! Afterwards we'll suit up to go into the Apiary and do maintenance work on the hives.All materials (bee suit, gloves, hive tools, smoker, etc) provided! We have a limited amount of youth suits available, so please note in the registration if you are requesting a youth or adult size.
Ages 7+ welcome to suit up and go into the apiary. Guardians must be present if signing up a minor. All attendees must sign a liability waiver at the library before entering the apiary. All events dependent on good weather conditions.
