The Apex Theatre Studio Inc. will present Godspell, the well-loved Off-Broadway musical that puts a contemporary spin on the Gospel of St. Matthew. This one-and-only performance in Duval County will be Friday, June 25th at 8:00 p.m. in Klutho Park located in the Historic Springfield neighborhood. ADMISSION IS FREE and open to the public. All ages will enjoy this family-friendly performance by this talented group of young and emerging artists.
An instant hit when it was produced Off Broadway in 1971, “Godspell” offers a variety of musical styles and theatrical formats to make the Gospel of St. Matthew accessible to today's audiences. Its much-loved score includes the hits "Day by Day" and "Prepare Ye the Way." Jake Moorehead, a rising junior at the prestigious Point Park University (Musical Theatre program), will play the role of Jesus. (More info can be found at www.apextheatreajax.com)

All other blanket seating will be first come, first serve. Lawn chairs are welcome but will be asked to sit along the perimeter as to not block any views.
