For 20 years, the APAC Permanency Conference has served as Alabama’s premier adoption and child welfare training conference, bringing together Alabama DHR staff, clinicians, social workers, counselors, child-serving professionals, as well as foster and adoptive parents, committed to permanency, healing, and healthy lifelong family connections.
This milestone year features nationally recognized keynote speaker Jamole Callahan, a foster care alum and systems-change leader, presenting “Rooted in Belonging.” His keynote reframes permanency as a lifelong promise built through relationships, culture, and community accountability.
