AOSN Best Practices Academy: The Trauma Informed Classroom: MARCH 6-7,2025

AOSN hosts UAMS trainer Evon Williams. Evon will deliver 2 days (March 6 and March 7 ) of training focused on youth mental well-being, Youth worker well-being, and organizational support structures. Day one has two sessions: In the morning Evan will explain Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and discuss Trauma informed Care (TIC). The afternoon session covers youth worker fatigue, secondary trauma, and methods for dealing with burn-out. The Optional Day 2 morning session will emphasize enhancing program and classroom safety, and the afternoon session will offer ideas and a discussion about supporting a Trauma Informed Organization. Lunch will be provided
