For the first time ever, Alpaca Owner’s Association is bringing the National Alpaca Show to OKLAHOMA, to Grady County Fairgrounds in Chickasha, OK. This show is held annually in various cities in the U.S. and attracts the best of the best in the alpaca world. Expect to see several hundred alpacas under one roof, competing in the halter ring, walking fleece, (shorn) fleece, and our favorite, the Performance Ring. Both adults and children ages 5-18 will compete in Showmanship, Public Relations and Obstacles, with a Costume Contest to top it off. Competition starts at 9am both Saturday & Sunday. Most of the activities will be on Saturday, March 15, with the continuation of halter & walking fleece on Sunday. Come watch, interact, and learn!! FREE ADMISSION!
