ANZSOC 2026 HDR Pre-Conference Workshop

Designed specifically for HDR candidates, this interactive workshop provides practical advice, peer support, and career insights to help emerging criminology scholars navigate the challenges and opportunities of postgraduate research. Through panel discussions, facilitated conversations, and networking activities, participants will explore topics including building an academic profile, managing rejection and imposter syndrome, publishing research, and planning career pathways within and beyond academia. Featuring experienced academics, recent graduates, publishers, and industry professionals, the workshop offers candid reflections and practical guidance to support HDR success and build professional networks in the crime and justice field.
