.
ANYX is the solo project of Berlin-based composer and performance artist Anna Lucia Nissen, working between experimental songcraft, electronics and live performance. Centered around a magnetic vocal delivery, she merges drone atmospheres, theatrical intensity and sculptural songwriting into visceral live performances moving between concert, ritual and performance art. - Her debut album Starlink - released via La Rubia Producciones — explores themes of alienation, ecology and transcendence through sculptural songwriting, drone atmospheres and minimal instrumentation. Often compared to artists such as ANOHNI and Scott Walker, ANYX merges tenderness and intensity into a deeply physical and emotional sonic world.
For the album release concert, ANYX will present songs from "Starlink" in reshaped and re-inhabited live versions, taking a sculptural approach to voice, body and space.
Expanding the album into an intimate and ever-changing environment, the performance invites audiences into her self-authored universe. - Joined by harpist Andy Aquarius and lap steel guitarist Kristof Hahn (Swans), the evening will feature expanded live interpretations of selected songs from the album.
..
Andy Aquarius is a multi-instrumentalist, harpist and composer creating atmospheric works between ambient, folk and experimental music. Centered around Celtic harp and voice, his music unfolds through mystical folklore, improvisation and immersive sonic landscapes. - His acclaimed debut album Chapel introduced a deeply intimate approach to harp music, described by KEXP’s Alex Ruder as a “transcendental journey through the outer realms of ambient, classical and folk music.” Recent releases including Golla Gorroppu, Forest Grimoire and Holy Glade further explore themes of nature, solitude and spiritual resonance. - Andy’s live performances are marked by peaceful intensity and rich atmosphere, moving between delicate vocal passages, lyrical harp expressions and meditative instrumental improvisation.
...
Kristof Hahn’s music ranges from abstract cinematic soundscapes to elegant rock’n’roll noir songs. He is best known for his lap-steel guitar playing in the New York experimental rock band Swans. - Hahn’s approach to the lap-steel guitar is less rooted in tradition and more oriented towards drone, creating vast soundscapes that sometimes erupt into sonic thunderstorms and at other times resolve into ethereal melodies.
