About this Event

The Theatre Double Feature is BACK!

You loved it so much we are bringing it back! Our Theatre Double Feature 2026 will bring to life two original one act plays in one night!

After a sold out run last year, we are thrilled to bring back a fan favorite! This years Theatre Double Feature will bring to life two brand new original one acts in one night of theatre, each one featuring their own cast and creative team. Join us for an evening of laughter, tears and incredible local talent.

This Years Pieces

We are beyond thrilled to produce two unpublished works, giving voice to upcoming talent. Our night will open with I Was a Gifted Child! by Jessica Moss, directed by Lee Hanson and assistant directed by Terryn Shigg. Gifted Child is a delightful farce following two dirtbags who host a dinner party that is quickly revealed to be a house of lies, all while cracking under the pressure of modern life. Quick, quirky, and painfully relatable..Gifted Child is here to make you laugh and hang onto your friends a little tighter.

After all that absurdity, we will close the evening with the heartfelt piece, BarnBurner! by Maguire Wilder directed by Hannah Leigh and assistant directed by Mercedes Stafford. The doctors told Anna 'Slip' Greede that she should never box again. That just simply won't do. When Anna gathers her friends together for one final night in the ring, she - and her community - grapple with each other and how to handle their ever changing bodies. BarnBurner! is shocking and emotional and the perfect conclusion to our evening.
