Anything That Moves album launch party

To celebrate the release of our new mini-album ‘Anything That Moves’ we thought we’d invite you all along to our favourite award-winning pub - The Dove, in the heart of swinging downtown Ipswich, in order for us to play all the songs on it to you live, in person, in order, on a sunny Sunday afternoon soirée. If you haven’t already bought a copy by then, we will have some CDs for sale, and will be prepared to sign either them, or your arm so you can get our signatures filled in as permanent tattoos.
To follow that we have the incomparable Taylor Rae and Sam Hodgson, AKA Lemongrass, a refreshing iteration of the classic Folk Duo. Drawing from the tradition of The Avett Brothers, Shakey Graves, and Mumford & Sons, the duo harmonizes while playing percussion, using kick drum and tambourine to create the driving energy of a full band with only two members. The dreamy storytelling of their lyrics and the natural vocal blend of their harmony positions Lemongrass a stand out voice in today’s Americana revival.
Entry is free, as is the car park nearby, and depending on numbers, we might even fire up the barbecue.
Dress code, East Anglicana. Hats optional.
