Getting In A Short-Short Play
Playwright: Kathryn Ryan
Synopsis:
At her age the last thing Marilyn ever expected was to get carded at the entrance to the club where her favorite band from the 80’s has reunited. But the club bouncer Luis has no choice but to follow the rules and can’t admit her without a valid ID. To get in, Marilyn has to open up to Luis and face some uncomfortable truths about herself and the path she has taken.

Synopsis:
Eleanor is deeply concerned about the character, finances and smoking habits of the single woman (a hairdresser!) moving into the big, pricey house next door. Eleanor’s husband, Richard, is more concerned about a nasty little problem that exists in their own house.

Paramour
Playwright: Rose-Mary Harrington
Synopsis:
Paramour is an ekphasis play inspired by the etching Night on the El Train by Edward Hopper. The time is 1918. The 19th Amendment is on the agenda. A man and a woman are stuck in the compartment of a train trying to realize their identity and relationship. The brevity of their stage life is interspersed with comments on their creator, the playwright.

Synopsis:
Kitty and Lauren, both eight years old are pretending to be grown-ups. But their role models haven’t been stellar, and their misunderstandings of adult behavior has both comical and painful results.

This Will Be Thine

Synopsis:
Every day Raf, a refuse worker, tosses away the trash we discard without a thought, making sure that once it’s gone, it’s gone. But an unexpected visitor is determined to get back something she feels she mistakenly threw away. Julie convinces a reluctant Raf to help her search through all the black plastic trash bags for a special stuffed bear. Actors: Keith Marquez and Magda Mukhtar
