Join author Anya Liftig for a talk about her personal publication journey for her memoir, Holler Rat, released by Abrams Press August. Get an intimate look at how Liftig, an over 40 women with no MFA in creative writing, brought her work from her community writing workshop through the traditional publication process.
She will talk about the joys, challenges, surprises of the entire writing, revising, agent seeking, selling, editing, publicity and eventual (seven years later) publishing journey.
