About this Event
Join our four-week support and skills group for high school students who experience anxiety. Through guided discussions, interactive activities, and coping tools, teens will learn to better understand and manage anxiety in a supportive, judgment-free environment. They will walk away building emotional awareness and the confidence to handle stress related to school, peers, and daily life.
Our Agenda:
- Week One— What is Anxiety?: How does anxiety affect the body and mind?
- Week Two— Social Anxiety: Exploring fears of judgment, rejection, social discomfort
- Week Three— Academic Anxiety: Managing school stressors, test pressure, and perfectionism
- Week Four— Coping Skills & Self Care: What are healthy ways to manage anxiety?
This series is led by Michelle Karimi, an AMFT passionate about providing warm support to those who are struggling with anxiety and are looking to learn tangible skills.
The total cost is $100 for all four sessions if out-of-payment. Insurance is accepted. If you would like to pay through insurance (Aetna, Cigna, United, and more), please call +1 650-855-2008 to discuss your co-pay.
