Join us for a fun and immersive Kathak journey with Svetlana. Whether you're new or have some experience, this 2-day adventure will deepen your love for this beautiful dance form. Don't miss out on moving, learning, and connecting in a relaxed, friendly vibe!

Class Dates: June 13, 14, 2026 (10am-6pm CST)

Class structure:

Day 1: 10 am - 6 pm (June 13, 2026)

2 hours foundational technique: footwork, hastak (hand mudras & wrist movement) & chakkars (spins)

2 hours foundational technique: simple combos like palta, chaal, thaat, tihayi, etc.

2 hour lunch break

2 hours kathak choreography: tarana (technique)

Day 2: 10 am - 6 pm (June 14, 2026)

2 hours foundational technique: revise day 1 material (footwork, hastak, chakkars, simple combos, tarana)

2 hours foundational technique: compositions like tukda, paran, uthaan, primlu, etc.

2 hour lunch break

2 hours kathak choreography: thumri (abhinaya)
