Antonyms- Opposites seems to indicate distance separation differences. We invite you to this performance journey to see the threads that bind them or maybe help separate them?

Presentation

Antonyms is presented as a movement narrative that is choreographed to flow to original poetry that tell powerful stories.

Presented by movement artists and dancers Janvi Ananth Supriya and storyteller and writer Meera Venkatesan these stories had their organic growth through the performer's soul and is presented as a work of their passion.

Organiser information

Janavi Ananth describes herself as an artist and a mover. She is a queer affirmative mental health practitioner. Trained Psychologist (clinical) and She practises body based expressive arts therapy through her initiative Tanmatra. She has been part of theater groups and given individual performances.

Supriya Das is trained expressive arts therapy and authentic movement practitioner."Body always remembers" - holding this philosophy her approach is body centred using creative art forms - movement art drama sand play music and play. Her work - Moving With Nature is an initiative to help people explore and reconnect with their authentic nature through their body and the earth.

Meera Venkatesan is a creative soul performance storyteller and writer who believes that following her thoughts will lead to her destination. She has performed in many international storytelling festivals and curated and authored several performances. Co-founder of Katha Krafters she specializes in writing and performing original stories.
