The biennial conference of the Western Rite Vicariate will be held Tuesday, August 16 through Friday, August 19 at St Michael Orthodox Christian Church in Whittier, California. Please register at: https://www.orthodoxwest.com/conference
The theme for this year’s conference is “The Spirituality of the Transfiguration” based on these words from the Gospel according to St Matthew: “And [He] was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.” (Mt 17.2)
Bishop JOHN (Abdalah), Bishop for the Western Rite Vicariate, will preside at all liturgical services, and will be address the clergy and laity on various Vicariate matters.

Metropolitan JOSEPH, Archbishop of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America, has also indicated that he plans to attend.
