Greeting comrades and allies, The Western Conservative Summit and The Centennial Institute at Colorado Christian University are hosting a conference this Juneteenth. They are hosting a 2-day long right-wing tirade at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Denver with well know far-right speakers such as Colorado's very own secessionist and the Representative of Colorado's 3rd congressional district, Lauren Boebert, as well as the far Right-Journalist, grifter and Portland's well known right-wing provocateur, Andy Ngo. With Lakewood's infamous anti-gay baker, Jack Phillips who you might remember as a person so homophobic he took his bigotry's to the supreme court and wrapped his prejudice in religion. They will also be hosting right-wing oriented workshops and presenting films from other well known bigots, fascists and reactionary individuals like Ted Cruz, Louie Gohmert, and lesser know far-right vultures. We will be hosting a car caravan rally in response to this ultra nationalistic event, we will drive around the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Denver to make a lot of noise and let the far right know that Denver doesn't welcome their idea of "Frontier Freedom" which is a white-supremacist dog whistle and erases the genocide of the Indigenous people's of Colorado and of the American southwest. It also erases the historical class struggles of the poor white working class, African American communities, Latino Communities and Asian-pacific committees of the frontier. which often were used as cannon fodder and pawns to conquer the west for east coast capitalists and land speculators. We also wish to point out they decided to host this far right event celebrating this false narrative of America exceptionalism during the celebration of Juneteenth, which shows ether the ignorance or pure malice on the part of the promotors of this event and they deserve to face criticism on their rhetoric and on their choice of dates in particular.
We will Begin staging for the protest at the parking lot behind the capitol building (1445 Logan St) at 2:00PM then when ready we'll roll out to let the far right know they'll always be opposed in Denver. We'll also be joined by our comrades @DenverCommunist and their allies who will be hosting their Western BLM-Antifa Summit picket and rally at the same time also in opposition with the far right event.
