Anthony Rosano and the Conqueroos are a blues/rock band from Virginia that has been electrifying audiences with their high-energy performances and soulful sound. With gritty vocals, searing guitar riffs, and a tight rhythm section, this band has been gaining a loyal following and critical acclaim for their original music and energetic live shows.
The Band has toured with Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, Tab Benoit, and Humble Pie, they have opened for ZZ Top, Gov't Mule, and Blackberry Smoke.
Their latest release "Cheat the Devil" (produced by Tab Benoit) has earned them critical acclaim and expanded their Fanbase even farther.
Captured live at Tab's Whiskey Bayou Studio, the album is a gumbo of southern blues-rock , smoky slide and fused wah-wah, between shades of Mountain, Jeff Beck Group and BBA ( "Sweet Little Devil", "My Baby Gets Around" and "Sin City"). As soon as the tempo gets heavier, we fork to lands where the shadows of Hendrix, SRV and the Allmans rub shoulders in the '90s (the dizzying "What Kind Of Fool", the voodoo funk "Jonesboro Road" or the double shuffle "Keeps Adding Up").
