Anthony Davis has been in the forefront of American music for 50 years. In addition to being the preeminent American composer of operas – he won the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for The Central Park Five – he is a virtuoso pianist, steeped in the tradition of Ellington and Monk. This will be his only solo concert in the Mid Atlantic region this year.
