Curtis Ippolito is the author of the new novel Waves of Burden. He is an Anthony Award-and-Derringer Award winner, and the author Burying the Newspaper Man, numerous short stories, and the guest editor of the award-winning anthology On Fire and Under Water: A Climate Change Crime Fiction Anthology. Curtis also serves as Vice President of Partners in Crime.For this special event, Curtis will be in conversation with Carl Vonderau. The two will discuss the inspiration behind Waves of Burden and explore some of its themes including found family, past trauma, and Curtis' unabashed love for San Diego.
The meeting will begin at 11:30 a.m. with light refreshments and time to mingle and network with fellow members. The presentation will begin at noon, and Curtis will have books available for sale and signing afterward. We hope you will join us for this exclusive event.
