There is an island in Antarctica that doesn't look like anything from the outside. A wall of black volcanic rock. No way in — or so you think.

Hidden in that wall is a single narrow passage called Neptune's Bellows. Sail through it and everything changes. Inside the crater: black sand beaches warmed by geothermal heat, thousands of chinstrap penguins, fur seals on the shore, and minke whales moving through the inner bay. A summer party inside an active volcano. Beautiful, alive, and completely unexpected.

Antarctica Pop-Up Bar is popping into Kathmandu Cocktail Bar for one night only — Monday July 27 in Washington DC. We're taking over the space and bringing the full Antarctica experience inside one of DC's most exciting cocktail destinations. Mixologists Jonathan Henriquez and José Cox are teaming up with Kathmandu's chef to deliver an evening where craft cocktails meet culinary collaboration — every drink paired with something from the kitchen that makes it hit different.

This is not just a bar night. This is Antarctica walking through the door of Kathmandu and making itself at home — and you're invited.
