It's our most ambitious event yet, bringing one of the true pioneers of electronic music to one of Sheffield’s most iconic venues.On Saturday 10 October 2026 we welcome Sasha for a very special 3-hour performance inside Sheffield Cathedral, creating a unique setting for a night of world-class electronic music.
Few artists have shaped modern electronic music quite like Sasha. With a career spanning more than three decades, he remains one of the most respected and influential DJs in the world, known for his ability to take audiences on unforgettable musical journeys.

Sasha
Sasha is a pioneering British DJ, producer, and composer whose influence spans over three decades of electronic music. Widely credited with shaping the progressive house genre, he first rose to international prominence in the 1990s through seminal mix albums like Renaissance: The Mix Collection and the Northern Exposure series with John Digweed. In 2000, he was voted the world’s No.1 DJ by DJ Mag.
Known for emotionally resonant, genre - blending sets, Sasha has headlined festivals like Glastonbury, Coachella, and Creamfields, and held iconic residencies at Twilo, Space Ibiza, and Fabric. His acclaimed Involver series redefined the boundaries between DJing and production, while studio albums like Airdrawndagger, Scene Delete, and LUZOSCURA showcased a cinematic, experimental edge. Sasha has long embraced technology, famously debuting his custom Maven controller and Ableton Live setup during his groundbreaking 2005 Essential Mix at Maida Vale, a set now seen as one of the most innovative in BBC Radio 1 history. He later brought this hybrid approach to live audiences with Refracted: Live orchestral shows at London’s Barbican.
Through his label Last Night on Earth, Sasha continues to champion emerging talent and forward-thinking sounds. In 2022, he scored Genius: The Score for the immersive Da Vinci exhibition, further expanding his creative reach. From underground raves to immersive art and global tours, Sasha remains a restless innovator whose work continues to inspire artists and audiences worldwide.
Jon Towell
Jon Towell is a UK-based electronic music artist whose reputation continues to rise across the underground scene. With releases on respected labels including Plastic Fantastic, Nightcolours, Electronic Groove Records, Keep Thinking Music, Stripped Recordings and more, Jon has firmly established his sound within the progressive and melodic space of modern club culture.
His productions have earned support from major industry figures such as John Digweed, Anthony Pappa, Spencer Brown, Gai Barone, Paul Thomas, Danny Tenaglia, Paul Oakenfold, Nick Muir and Nick Warren. Jon has also reached a major career milestone with five of his tracks featured on John Digweed's Transitions radio show, cementing his presence within the global progressive scene.
2026 marks a defining moment in his career, beginning with his Number One EP on Plastic Fantastic, showcasing a new level of refinement in his studio output. On stage, Jon is known for vibrant, emotionally charged and high-energy DJ performances built on precision, depth and musical flow. He has delivered both headline sets and specialist warm-ups for respected artists including Anthony Pappa, Dave Seaman, Danny Howells, Quivver and Steve Parry.
Dave Lazenby
One of the founders of Another Life in 2022, Dave has played every event at several venues across Sheffield. He's also played at various club nights and festivals across the UK supporting the likes of progressive house big hitters Anthony Pappa, Danny Howells, Dave Seaman, Quivver, Steve Parry, Aubrey Fry, Lexicon Avenue, Jody Barr and Four Candles as well as spinning in Ibiza at Es Paradis and Ibiza Rocks Bar.
Dave’s DJ style reflects his love of all flavours of house, progressive and techno, as well as sometimes nodding seductively at the trance roots, forged in Sheffield institution Gatecrasher. Equally at home intricately building atmosphere from the very start of the night or playing the headline sets, Dave always manages to tell a story with his music and connects with dancefloors via exceptional music choice and fluid mixing.
From a production perspective he has thus far released two tracks, The Face (Saline Recordings) and Underground (Hexagonal Music Argentina), collaborations with fellow Another Life DJ/Co-owner Jon Towell. He has another track being finalised (as of March 2026) to be featured on another of the worlds biggest and most prestigious progressive house labels.
