Supervisor Doug Chaffee is hosting a second Gun Buyback Event in partnership with Supervisor Vicente Sarmiento, City of Anaheim- Municipal Government, and Anaheim Mayor Ashleigh Aitken and with the support from Anaheim Police Department, Brea Police Department, Buena Park Police Department, Fullerton Police Department, La Habra Police Department, Orange Police Department, Orange County Sheriff Bomb Squad, and Placentia Police Dept.?Date: May 11, 2024

How it works:
✅ Bring your unwanted firearms: Firearms must be unloaded and in the trunk of your car or otherwise secured in the back of a vehicle.
✅ Get gift card: Gift cards are based on the type of firearm in the amount of $100 for complete/operable handguns, shotguns, ghost guns, and rifles, and $300 for complete/operable assault weapons as classified by the state of California. Gift cards are limited and subject to availability.
✅No questions asked: Turning in firearms is anonymous with no identification or other documentation required.
