Eastern Iowa Community College and our local American Welding Society Section have partnered together to host the 2nd Annual Welding Competition for local high school and college students. Participants have a chance to win some cool prizes from Jackson and AWS scholarships.The competition will take place at the John T. Blong Technology center, located at 8500 Hillandale Road, Davenport IA 52806 on May 17, 2023, at 9 a.m.
Pre-registration is encouraged and act fast! There is limited space. The contest will include GMAW, SMAW, and GTAW. Students will have the option to pick which process.
Family members and teachers are encouraged to come and witness the excitement! EICC will have the campus open to tour other great trade programs and interact with businesses in our community as well.
