Dear Wahyanites and Friends of Fr. Finneran Memorial Fund,
36 years ago our beloved Fr. Finneran joined our heavenly father and rested in peace at the St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Happy Valley. This year also marks the 20th year that Mr. Francis Kong had left us.
As the WYK Tennis team has made it an annual event to visit Fr. Finneran and the Jesuit Fathers as well as our beloved Mr. Francis Kong who had contributed so much to the two Wah Yan Colleges in Hong Kong (WYK & WYCHK) and to the education of Hong Kong, we have picked the coming Saturday (January 3rd 2026) to be the day for our visit this year:
Date: 3 Jan 2026 (Saturday)
Time: 1:30pm
Place: St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Happy Valley, Hong Kong
Note: There will be a tennis gathering at the WYK Tennis Court from 9am-12noon. We will then have a quick lunch at Mong Kok and arrive at the Cemetery by around 1:30pm. Please come and join us!
