Its that time of year again! the annual pumpkin carving contest is back!
October 24, 2026 10am-2pm
WHO: Members of the Underwater Outlaws SCUBA club. (Memberships can be renewed or purchased at www.underwateroutlaws.com)
WHEN: We have Cookshack #1 reserved from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Meet at 10:00. Dive briefing at 10:30. In the water before 11:00 and be back on shore by noon.
Second dive is optional.
WHERE: Meet on the beach near cookshack #1
WHAT: Buddy teams submerge and carve a pumpkin underwater. Then warm up with a hot dog and a hot chocolate.
Bring your certification number.
Bring a pumpkin and extra weight for your pumpkin and yourself. Bring carving tools and a bag for the guts.
Bring your air and all your dive gear. The water is cooling off and you won't be swimming around exerting yourself to stay warm. Dress appropriately and bring some extra lead.
Please help us promote our club and this event by sharing this information and bringing a friend.
If you don't have a buddy, we will find one for you.
RSVP: Please rsvp so we know how many people to expect. We are limited to 20 divers.
VOLUNTEER: If you are interested in helping out please let us know. We need: 1 hotdog cook, 1 underwater photographer, 1 person to track buddy teams in/out, and 1 person to get liability waivers signed.
