The Stewardship Board is welcoming Larry McCure to St. Paul on Sunday, October 3rd. During our special coffee hour, he will share his knowledge and insights about stewardship and the importance of giving out of abundance and with generosity.Larry and his wife of 47 years are both members of 1st Congregational Church of Lockport, Illinois where he is serving on Spiritual Life ministry and church council as a member at large.
He retired from Argonne National Laboratory in 2003 after 25 years of service. He was recruited in 1992 to serve on the Illinois Conference Stewardship Ministry Committee.
Each of the five Associations within the Illinois Conference of the United of Church of Christ has at least one stewardship consultant and Larry serves in the Eastern Association as Commissioned Minister of Stewardship.
