🚪🥫 Scouting for Food starts Saturday, November 1st! 🥫🚪Our annual Scouting for Food Drive begins with notice distribution! These notices (door tags) remind neighbors to leave non-perishable food donations on their doorsteps for collection the following Saturday, November 8th.
🧭 Scouts — Don't forget to bring your energy and service spirit rocking your full Field/Class A Uniform!
Let’s work together to support families in need within our immediate community.
👨👩👧👦 Parents — a Quick Reminder:
Please keep track of the homes where your Scout places door tags. Many residents look forward to participating and are disappointed if their home is missed on collection day.
⚠️ Safety First!
• Distribute notices during daylight hours only (after 9:00 AM).
• No tag distribution or food collection after dark.
• No riding on tailgates or in the back of vehicles.
• All Scouts must wear seatbelts when being transported.
• Drivers: use extreme caution and avoid busy streets.
• Adult leaders must be present during both notice distribution and food collection.
• Remind Scouts to Always practice the Buddy System.
• Scouts should never enter a home for any reason.
