The Scholarship Concert features the winners of the Annual Scholarship Auditions.Each year the American Wind Band sponsors two high school students and two 8th grade students for scholarships to continue their private studies or attend a summer music camp of their choice. The awards of given through two competitive auditions. This years awards will total over $6000.
In addition to the student performance, the American Wind Band will perform The Sinfonians Concert March, the Finale to Antonin Dvorak’s 8th Symphony, and a salute to Henry Mancini in honor of his 100th birthday. There will be more then a few additional musical surprises.
