ANNUAL ORCHID COUNTThe annual count will take place on Saturday 6th July and we are looking for your help. This is definitely a job where the ‘More the Merrier’ applies, as it takes far less time with more volunteers, so if you are able to help out please get in touch. Any help will be much appreciated.
It is an activity which doesn't require any previous knowledge as you will be given guidance on the day.
All that is required is that you are able to walk slowly through the meadows where the grass can be quite long, stay in line, and only go as fast as the slowest person, looking for white orchids.
Plean Country Park is a large site for these beautiful orchids so please sign up for this important event.
As usual refreshments and goodies will be provided and further information will be provided to those who register for the day.
