The WitchGang Apothecary & Emporium is the proud host of the ORIGINAL Old Norse Yule Market & Vikingr Feast!
Since 2017, we've honored the ancient traditions of Yule (or Jol, as our Norse ancestors called it) with a day of merriment, feasting, and magik.
It’s a day to celebrate the old ways and traditions and we do that with an afternoon market supporting our local artisans and makers. Then we invite you to an evening of feasting, brought to you by those who walk the path of the old ways, allowing you to step back in time and sit with the ancestors.
On Saturday, December 21st, our grounds transform into a Nordic wonderland. From 2pm till 8pm, our carefully curated outdoor market features local artisans, readers, food trucks, and steaming mugs of hot chocolate.
As the sun sets, our event center becomes a Vikingr longhouse, resplendent in all its glory. Join us for a formal, catered feast featuring an amazing dinner, mead, and mesmerizing performances from our tribal and belly dancers with a fire and light show from Wicked Wicks of the West. The evening culminates in a sacred Jol Fire Ritual, where we welcome you to join us around crackling flames.

Admission to our daytime market is free, so come one, come all! Support local artisans and soak in the festive atmosphere.
But if you wish to join the evening feast, heed this warning: tickets sell out swiftly! Secure your place at the tables of the gods tomorrow, when tickets go on sale on Eventbrite on Thursday, November 21st at noon.

VIP Tickets, which include meal, drinks, reserved seating, and commemorative gift, are $50 per person or $95 per couple.
This is an intimate event and seating is limited. When tickets are gone, they're gone and we sell out every year!

No refunds will be issued and tickets transfers are only allowed with prior approval.
Dinner Menu: Catered by Catered to You!
Appetizers: Cranberry Brie Crostini, Cheese, Meat & Crackers
Salad: Young greens, dried cranberries, red onions, cherry tomatoes, feta, roasted walnuts (on the side) and Raspberry Vinaigrette. Served with bread and butter.
Main: Your choice of either Hunter's Chicken - chicken breast, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, red wine poultry glaze and fresh herbs OR Whiskey Peppercorn - tri tip, whiskey peppercorn mornay, and fresh herbs.
Served with garlic mashed potatoes and lemon grilled asparagus.
Desserts from t/b/a
Drinks and Coffee or Tea provided with your meal.
Evening festivities require a tickets and are for ages 21+ (ID's will be checked!)

Limitation of Liability - To the extent permitted by law, the WitchGang Apothecary shall not have any liability to you beyond the face value of the ticket purchased, plus any relevant per ticket service charge. The WitchGang Apothecary shall not be liable for any loss of enjoyment or wasted expenditure. The WitchGang Apothecary accepts no responsibility for any personal property loss, stolen, damage or breakage howsoever occasioned.
Injury at events - The WitchGang Apothecary is the organizer and promoter of this event, the Old Norse Yule Market & Vikingr Feast (hereby referred to as “event(s)”). It utilizes existing grounds, buildings, roadways and/or pathways, owned or leased at 5440 14th Ave., Sacramento, Ca 95820 (hereby referred to as “the premises”). It does so on a “as is basis” and subject to existing faults (if any), the current condition and state of repair, of the grounds, buildings, roadways and pathways, so that to the extent permitted by law, therefore the WitchGang Apothecary and/or the owner(s) of the premises disclaims all liability for any injuries or death sustained, however caused, during the event(s).
The WitchGang Apothecary will try to make the event(s) an enjoyable and safe experience, please take care, and stay alert at all times that you are at our event. If you or your minor are injured immediately ask a volunteer for assistance or to contact an emergency service.
You assume all risks while you attend or participate at the event(s), regardless of what activity you are involved in.
By purchasing a ticket, receiving free entry, or receiving a ticket as a performer, or as our guest, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions in your personal capacity and on behalf of any other member of a band or group you are applying for, and for any accompanying minor. If a minor accompanies you, you are responsible for their behavior and safety while at the event(s).
We, the WitchGang Apothecary, is a privately owned business, event organizing, and licensed entity, and therefore we reserve the right to refuse service.

By attending our event and/or purchasing any type of ticket, including free tickets, you are agreeing that you have read, acknowledged, and agreed to our Limitations of Liability.
