Friends every year we tackle the microplastic mess that is Minim Cove for Tangaroa Blue. We will literally sweep up these horrid plastic resin pellets and other deteriorated litter and really clear this space so it stops washing out onto our local beaches. Are you up for a challenge?
Park at Mosman Park tennis club / Russell Brown Adventure Park.
Walk through the playground past the lake to the Peppermint tree by the river. Here you’ll find our sign in table, collect your gear then come down by the shore and help us clean.
We will clean from 9-10.30, sort & collate data from 10.30-12.
Please dress SunSmart, consider reptiles are on the move, enclosed shoes are sensible, as are long sleeves & long pants, I have gloves if you need them.
This is a child suitable event, but you are responsible for your kids.
